Winter Reading Program

2021 WR Website

Read this winter to earn a free book and win prizes! Our Winter Reading Program runs from December 28 through February 28. All ages are welcome to participate! 

For readers ages 0-10: For every 10 books, or 200 minutes you read, earn an entry into the prize drawing, At 20 books or 400 minutes read, come in for your first prize. At 50 books or 1000 minutes read, come in for your free book.

For readers ages 18 and up: Every 4 books read earns entry in the prize drawing and your first prize. At 8 books read, enter the drawing again and visit the library for your free book!

Readers aged 11-18 may choose to participate in either the kid's or adult program.

Stop by either the Adult or Children's Information Desks to register and pick-up your reading log. Or, visit to keep track and log online! Prizes will be available from January 4 - February 28. Raffle winners will be contacted the first week of March.

Please note: If you've previously participated in either Summer or Winter Reading here at West Allis Public Library, you already have a Beanstack account. If you don't remember your log-in information, please call 414-302-8500.
