Meet someone new by listening to a biography with Miss Beth on Youtube. Then, pick-up an activity to do at home! Activity packs (while supplies last) can be picked up in the Children's Department or by scheduling a Curbside Pick-up. For grades 1-5.

Teen Programming

Winter Skincare for Teens
November 13th from  3:30-4:30 pm (Zoom)

Winter is coming; mask wearing and hand washing aren't going away. With the change in weather your skin may need a little TLC. In this program we will talk about ways to care for your skin, discuss recipes for homemade scrubs and masks and make a few to keep your skin fresh and clean. Registration begins October 30th, kits will be available to pick up at the library for registered participants the week of November 8th. To register online visit or call 414-302-8500. Monthly Teen Mixer
November 19th from, 4:30-5:30 pm (Zoom)

Register to get a teen tasking kit! This month we will be testing out different Barbeque sauce flavors! Save the kit for the Zoom meet-up and discuss the sauces. Register to by calling 414-302-8500 or online at (For teens in Grades 6-12)

Coloring Club from Home
Begins November 14th

We'll provide the coloring pages, you provide the creativity! Coloring packets are available at the adult information desk the third Thursday of each month. Take a packet home to color and post your completed works of art on Facebook or Instagram before the next coloring club for a chance to win a prize!

Medicare 101

We are partnering with the Milwaukee County Department on Aging to present a virtual webinar covering Medicare basics. Learn about options, benefits, enrollment and programs that may save you money on Medicare and prescription drugs. You can access the event here with the passcode X0D1NH. Thanksgiving Tips & Tricks

Fairy Tale - Virtual Escape Room

Cooped Up Crafts

This month we are crafting a cement pumpkin tealight holder! Registration is required and begins Novemeber 3rd. Those of you who do not register can still participate with your own supplies! A how-to-video will be posted online the day of the event.

Morning Meditation
November 27th, 9:30am

A video will be posted on Facebook and Instagram of some simple ways to decompress and destress after a busy day. (Ages 13 and up)

Books! Live with Katie
November 30th-December 4th, 10 am

The gift of giving season is upon us and we want to help you give books that people will love. All week Katie will post videos on our social media with suggestions of books to give to readers of all ages. On Wednesday December 3rd, she will go live on Facebook Live with general suggestions of books to buy and tips to make this giving season easy. This is an informal Facebook Live chat and is intended for Adult and older YA readers.
