Summer Programming for All Ages

Summer Reading Program

Sign up for our Summer Reading Program! ALL ages (from 0 to 100+) are invited to read this summer to earn prizes like coupons, gift cards, and free books! The program takes place June 1st through September 30th. To register visit or call 414-302-8500 to register with library staff.  Check out our Summer Reading Program page to learn more! 

Summer Reading Paper Chains!

Every time you finish a book, make a link for your chain and keep adding to it all summer.  Library staff will also be making a chain!  Will your family’s be longer than the Library’s?  Our goal is to circle the children’s department stairway.  Use Facebook to message us a picture of your progress.

Harry Potter Virtual Escape Room

Celebrate Harry Potter's birthday with our Virtual Escape Room! Those who "escape" can enter a raffle for Harry Potter-themed prizes. Start your quest here: Harry Potter Virtual Escape Room. The Escape Room is open Friday, July 31st - Sunday, August 2nd. Raffle winners will be contacted the week of August 3rd.

Genre Bingo

Play bingo from home!  Check off boxes by reading or watching the listed item.  Show us your completed bingo card and be entered in a raffle to win a small prize!  August is Science Fiction and you can find the bingo card here.

Library Recipe Club

Library staff will share a recipe and a step-by-step guide making a recipe on social media.  Then you can share your success making the same recipe or share one of your favorites with us.  August is Summer Soups!
